I have just upgraded my computer. When I run a system information utility, it tells me my processor isn't what it's supposed to be. Have I been cheated?
We doubt it. System information tools, including the one in Windows, can only accurately identify processors that were known about at the time the software was written. The Bios may display the processor type when the computer boots up - that's the most reliable indication.
